How far away should one be from an HF antenna thats has 80-150 watts being pushed through it? Reason I ask is because I have a roof mounted Vee dipole for HF and I run 7watts, 25watts, 80watts and 150watts, the roof it is on is at a high angle or pitch and its roughly 20-25 feet in the air from the ground with my station being below the antenna 2 stories down. So the Vee is not vertical but slanted at the same angle as the roof.

Then click on the link in my first post and enter your info into the calculator. I can tell you that 80-125 watts is not going to be a problem at the distance you are from the antenna. When you enter the power output into the calculator enter average power and not pep.

if,.............. he holds a U.S. (FCC) issued license, he has already completed that calculator,..................:blink:

jus sayin:whistle:

Since I saw a post on eHam from an extra class ham asking what a dipole was and how to make one...I ASSume nothing
