So Cal
I just sold an IC-3220H and stated in my ad that I would include instructions for cross band repeat as it wasn't covered in the manual. Since I had several inquiries by email about the crossband instructions, I decided to just post it here for future reference.

1. In VFO mode, set your UHF frequency, then push “Band” and set your VFH frequency.
2. Hold down the “Band” button for more than one second to activate dual band function.
3. Simultaneously hold down the “Band” and “Set” buttons until a flashing “L” appears on the screen. The radio is now in crossband repeat mode.
4. To exit crossband mode, hold the “Band and “Set” buttons until the “L” stops flashing on the screen.

I don’t know why Icom doesn’t spell this feature out in their manuals, but the new IC-2820H that I just bought is the same way. There’s no mention of crossband repeat in the manual at all, but I found a “how to” step by step crossband procedure on this forum.

I will not be there but hopefully by the end of this month I will have my New tower and antennas back in the air including my M2 6M5X. The old tower and all of my antennas came down in October 2023 during a Hurricane.
