I have been running a HR2510 for 3 years now which I purchased from Dean"Charger" previous WWRF Forum founder. I must say that this has to be the one of the best Sideband radios for Recieve & TX quality. I constantly get awesome reports from DX land on Sideband with this barefoot radio! It was tuned up by Doc in NY. Although it has no "chipswitched" mod...these radios really sound nice on LSB or USB that I've heard in DX Land. I use the HR2510 on a power supply as a base in the house with an astatic 575 mic...I even had a DX contact to Europe "England" barefoot with HR2510 on my antron 99 antenna.... last month. If anyone wants a radio to talk DX sideband REALLY consider a HR2510 they are built... AWESOME!

Now if I can just save enough money for a Lincoln for the mobile.....

Hey 215!

If that's the 2510 that Dean used at the house 3 years ago that was a BMF! Used to talk to him all the time up here in NY state! Good luck with the radio!
