The Hy-Gain TH5/MK2 ( i think TH5/MM is the Mark II) is is a 5 element, three band beam antenna designed
for broadband, high performance operation on the Amateur 10, 15 and 20
meter bands. Broadbanding is accomplished through the use of two fully
trapped driven elements. Stainless steel hardware and clamps are used on
all electrical connections. Hy-Gain's 50 ohm BN-86 balun and preformed feed
straps are supplied. The antenna is designed to fit masts from 1.9" to 2.5" in
diameter and can be rotated with Hy-Gain's CD-4511, Ham IV or T2X

I love my TH6-dxx, I get pile ups on 10m almost every day with about 400 or so watts with big signal reports.... , I am sure you will like the TH5....

good antenna, 4 elements on each band. I have one on my "small" tower.

if you need any assembly dimensions, let me know.

after a few years, i did have to slightly enlarge the "slits" in the tubing so the bands on the traps could be tightened up.

I modified mine slightly,.... I extended the mast it is attached to , so the mast extended about 2 feet above the boom and then used ss braided wire , a turnbuckle, and 2 insulators to attach the wire to each end of the boom. it stopped any sag in the boom
I won't insult you and tell ya to make sure that you don't install the traps "upside down"**Jump_im**

If I got this correct you basicly made a "truss" on top for extra support?

Even though I live in a dryer then a popcorn phart climate... DO NOT install the holes in the traps "up" for air ventilation, when I get that Henry fired up

Also I read that it is a broadband antenna... If I am correct if when on 10 it should tune to the freeband? Or will I have to use my tuner

the "truss" word is correct

it has 2 radiators and my installed tuner on a PROIII tunes to well below 26 MHz,................ YMMV
