I blew up my cobra 29LTD ST. How would i fix it?

Best bet is take or mail it to a good tech, and have them fix it. If you want to fix it yourself, you'll need the schematic, a collection of the proper test equipment (o'scope, digital multimeter, frequency counter, audio and rf signal generators, etc), and the knowledge to use all of it. If you haven't got that, then you're going to have to be ALOT more detailed as to the exact symptoms, and what happened that led up to them.

My first thought was hey it's a Soundcrapper, let it RIP and get a good radio. On the other hand if you actually like the soundtracker from what little information you gave I would have a qualified tech look at it. Your probably gonna be in the 20-50 dollar range

Ive tried asking that and he dont know. He was yelling his lungs off at some people and it started splattering and soundine way off freaq. He was running into a 250HD at the time as well. He was on 33 and he could be heard on 27.475 about 15 miles away

tryed

i brought the radio to the base and hooked it up to the antanna and the locals all said it sounded off frequency so i think i blew the final or something

If you have output power the final is good
I've seen something similar happen with a radio-- it had a bad connection to the antenna too-- it was a handheld with an add on part that went in place of the battery pack to connect to power and exterenal antenna
never knew what it was-- went off freq about 3 kc when audio was added-- with justr carrier it was bang on-- strange

If you don't have a freq counter you can only guess
