I got a galaxy dx88hl output section

I have an old galaxy dx 88hl everything still works fine just the output is out, i removed the covers and the finals looked like crap obviously messed with. I have found a finals kit for $24.39 us following link http://merchant.auctivacommerce.com...Finals-kit-Galaxy-77-88-99-more-P1154105.aspx has anyone done this? 25 bucks basically is a good gamble to maybe have a good 88? any input would be greatly appreciated, i could take pics with cover off looks messed with but everything else is good

Well...I guess what you have to ask yourself is, do you feel like a project?
Price isn't too bad, and the printed instructions are a plus.
Hard to tell what you might get into refurbing an old radio though. Pulling your hair out and a lot of cursing is probable
Give it a go if you like the radio. If nothing else, you'll learn something from it A lot of help here on the forum if you need it.

the output is very weak but receives everything else works fine, i took the covers off it looks obvious on the finals
