Static can come or go on anybody's station.
I wouldn't worry about it or blame your equipment.
So long as you've done all of the necessary things - like grounding your setup - or adding a noise supression filter between the power supply and your radio.

We've had a lot of threads on this site that deal with that very subject. You might want to use the 'search' button on top - and then you can do a few read-ups. That may give you an idea where to start - and what your station's problems may be. You can then also ask any direct questions on this thread.
