Badfish, i dug out the 148 gtl and it powered up, I dont have a antenna up so i couldnt key up, its been atleast 13 yrs since i opened the box and i dont remember what the symptoms were sorry, i will try and find an antenna and get back to you.
Hookedon6 I am all ears and am open to all suggestions...
I will mainly talk ssb and run the radio from a base.Thank you for your all responses.
