Anyone watching? Hard to watch ice hockey when your team isn't playing and its 100ºF outside. My local NHL team (Edmonton) is in the 7th game final against Florida. We're hoping for the best.

Ice Hockey fans ... big game tonight!

We don't see much hockey down here in the swamp. But then, the ice on the arenas don't seem to hold up long enough for a zamboni to smooth-out, so the whole thing turns into an icee mudpuddle covered with a 1" deep, sweat-flavored slurpee.... Kinda gross.
I do wish I could watch because I do enjoy the "sideshows". The Panthers ain't my team tho. I like the hometown team (the "Everblades").

I had a chance to see the Habs play in Montreal years ago. Then I went to buy tickets......
It was a great series! Florida taking the first three, then the Oilers making a great come back winning the next three. Tonight, it looked like Florida was very aggressive most of the game and was playing hard defense. A great game 7!!!

I caught the tail-end of the game. It sure feels bass-ackwards to have Florida win ANYTHING on ice --- But we'll take it. I guess.

I still remember my first time to watch a hockey game, it was back in '76. I was visiting a friend in Uranium City, Sak. Canada, whom I had been talking to for several months from here in Washington and decided to fly up there and see him.
I had a great time for the one week, but I was not all that excited about watching a hockey game at that time and to be honest, it's still not the game for me....
Now take the girls that play volley ball in their bikinis - YES!
