I'd hate to purchase one, do the 27mrz mod then find out there's a design flaw. The warranties gone and you've voided it. As long as you don't have deep pockets and short arm's you're good.
I guess that's one of the problems with purchasing an HF and insisting on having it operate on 11 meters.
If I'm correct there are several hf's that can be programmed through the trancevers menu.
I looked for a list of those particular rigs but couldn't find one..
