Hello, I Had a question

I recently completed a mars mod on this radio and wanted to see if theres any possible way to get this to Tx on 2m/70cm?

If anyone has any info on this possibility that would be great.

Thanks much,
Galanary

No, it won't even receive there. The max receiving frequency is 74.8 Mhz.

Ham radio's that have 2m/440 along with HF/6 have individual power amps among many other components for those 2 bands.

Those are basically 3 radio's built into one that's why they're referred to as a " shack in a box".

Galanary, google an Icom 746 Pro or Yeasu 991a. Look at pics of the back of those radios and you will see multiple antenna input locations. They put a lot inside those radios to be able to work like that.

Long ime back we used homemade transverters from HF to 2 and 70, 10 meter converted to 2 and 70 cm, bit overdone now.
Ge a separate radio for 2/70 i use the FTdx 10 for HF and 6/4 meter here and the Icom 9700 for 2/70/23 cm.
Or get an FT 847 or similar radio tha is a shack in tthe box as starter
