Inline SWR METER placement

Could/should Radiomateix have simply done a quick search of the forums and found his answer in some previous threads?
My personal opinion is “yes”. In fact, that is one of my pet peaves—people often just ask rather than take a bit of time to look for answers. The basic questions have all been asked here more than once through the years and the answers are there.

That said, let’s remember—as has already been stated many times in this thread—we are here to help each other. Period.

The thought that comes to my mind is, if someone is new to this or any different forum is they don't know the ins and out of the forum and no better way to learn is to get your feet wet and let the knowledgeable Old Timers steer you in the right direction. All forums are set up a little different by different managers. I'd hate to think of all the different forums I have bookmarked on different subject matter of my interests and probably still don't know the ins & outs of them all. Talk is Cheap but when you ask me to break out the tool box it's Gunna Cost You. LOL

I hate to turn the screw tighter, but the radio in the diagram will not work without power going to it, no matter where the SWR/Power meter is located.
After reading the original post, I see that my post has nothing to do with the OP's question, but I just had to do it, may everyone that reads this have mercy on my soul.
Just my observation.....

PS......no question is a stupid question.

The ones deserving of hells wrath are the ones who ask a question about something, then argue with the guy giving him a good answer because he doesn't understand what he was asking about OR the answer given.... THOSE are the ones GW should be turned lose on...
Some people just can't grasp info simply by reading, it needs to be explained in simpler terms. It's hard to make sense of instruction when you don't understand the project scope.
