we have the radios pictured here in the uk, i doubt you would like them compared to exports unless your preferance for looks and fancy functions is much more important than how it performs ,

in a typical multimode cb, fm has at least the range that am does, often with better audio fidelity and less interference to tv's/pc speakers ect, works great in skip too,
the downside is fm is extremely hard on amplifiers and power supplys compared to big swinging am, its hard on the ears between keys too unless you squelch up.
