Evidence like that is highly circumstantial. All they can tell is information went to an IP address. Anyone who has done any research can explain any number of ways that it didn't necessarily go to you. If it wasn't directly on one of your storage drives they have no real case, unless you just let them win.

That seems far fetched. Back in the early 00s I used to monitor networks which included, purchases, website tracking, read emails, photos etc...(list goes on) so as far as ISP not being able to see what your doing is hogwash.

If they track the content to your paid account then you have to prove otherwise. These company's have lawyers on retainer and can usually outspend you. Having an unsecured wireless access point is cause for contributory negligence on your part.

And I never said my wireless router was unsecured. It isn't. I know at least one guy I game with who can hack a secured wireless router in a matter of minutes. It happens. That's how banks and government agencies lose and compromise our personal info.
