Comet has an interesting product displayed on their website that some will find useful. It's coax Windows Jumper that lets you route your feedline through the gap in the window sill without leaving the window open. Here is a picture of the product:

The specs say that the power handling is fairly low:

HF 100W PEP
VHF: 60W FM
UHF: 40W FM
900MHz –1.3GHz: 10W FM

While I don't personally have a use for something like this, it's an interesting idea. If anyone decides to try this out, let us know what you think

An interesting product. Kinda wonder that the line loss is with this product. Does anyone know how much , if any, signal is lost?

The loss is in the spec sheet:
DC-500MHz .5dB
500-900MHz 1.3dB
900-1300MHz 1.8dB

Thanks! However, for my use I think I'll pass for now. Maybe later I may be need to use one but not just now. Just a bit more loss than I like........

Thanks again! :thumbup1:

VERY COOL PRODUCT!! But upon sight I to figured the loss was gonna be an issue with that flat line jumper they used be a fun experiment to reconstruct one at home with better materials HMMMMM???

What!?! If .5 db max insertion loss is a graph that runs zero at DC to .5 db at 500 Mhz then at hf frequencies the loss is a non-issue. To put the loss into perspective...basically, for every PL-259 you have in between your transmitter and antenna you loose approximately .04 db. I would bet that the loss at hf frequencies is about what it should be for the two SO-239 connectors used in the product. Same as inserting any two foot jumper into your feedline.

Seems to be a very well thought out product that I would have had use for on many occasions over the years.

I agree it is a great idea and will save on losing heat in cold states as I live in I also like the MFJ window plates they have aswell with the rotar jumper and a few choice of how many SO-239 connections one wants or needs.
