JASON MODE

I checked out the wspr, worked the first time, but no condx on 30 today from here.

I see ops are using a mode called JASON, anyone use it..band...or info appreciated.

there actually are 2 (two) different programs "Jason" amd "Jason Turbo"

they seem to be used for LOW FREQuency only.

the S/N ratio seems to far exceed WSPR (if that is possible)

i just d/l it yesterday and am running it now for the first time.

5 watts,...... working UA3's & DL2's on 10 meters 28.126MHz.

Where are they..ops..running it, or what frequencies.

I did download it, but it isnt xmiting will investigate more on it.
Also will check the turbo out, for JASON, never heard of the turbo part.

we have worked on sstv (mpn73-n mode) 30 meters before.

did you configure it to an available comm port?

also on 10 meters:28.126MHz is active

I was just on sstv on 30 a few on but condx are not the best today

Ok I got it to xmit...does it have a steady tone while xmiting, it must be doing something i put a test in the bottom and hit enter, and after a short time period it disappeared it must have gone out..hopefully, what frequency on 30 meters does one use...
I found out dont select a com port and thats is how I got it working..if the tone is what you hear when the top on air display flashed.
