looks like your having fun there robalo, you make me want to go back to my parents so i have the space to play also ;)

these 3 antennas are not mine, im just helping out my radio buddies just for the hobby not for money. no hard feelings but maco alpha v 5/8 with MC tips it works better local and DX. Jogunn is just a regular antenna. ive been working so hard this summer with all different types of names and brands, fiberglass and aluminum, dipolos and up to 8 elements, nothing like the money price and effort for the hobby. nothing like maco alpha v 5/8. i dont want to make any arguments, just my personal opinion. 73's Robalo.

Hi Robalo,

Can you please post a close up pic of the front of the Plastic hub on the PDL-2 where the curved sections mount for Me?

I am rebuilding one and want to be sure mine is put together correctly.

I have the instructions but they dont have clear drawings on that section.

Thanks,
Roger

Robalo,

anyway to get it as big as your third post with that giant close up pic?

Sorry but I just cant see the detail I need in that pic.

Is the curved section conected to a bushing that sticks out from the plastic hub about 1/4 inch or so?

Thanks,
Roger

thats already at 100% but wait untill i get the antenna at my house so i can take more pictures, i dont have a truck i have a scion xA and it wont fit on the car. I hope i dont get in trouble posting such large pictures, i might delete them in a week or two. just trying to follow the forum rules. Robalo as always 73's

Thanks, I will be looking forward to the pics, You can email them to me too if you want so you wont use so much space on this forum.

I have the same drawing as you posted, when I put it together the curved sections are sticking out on bushings about 1/4 inch not flush with the plastic hub.

A pic would show me if that is the way they are as the drawing dont show that detail.

Thanks,
Roger
