I bought a mint SB220 and when it made it to Kentucky, it said: Exception: Undeliverable - SYSTEM_RESTRICTION.

WTF!!

I phoned these goofs and they said the amp was made before 1970 and has "mercury reflectors"????
there was no tubes in it, no f**king mercury anywhere and they said it was confiscated by GSP.

They said I'll get a full refund but this is total bullshit.

And your proof of dumb hams having caused this is what? I know some do complain to Ebay about certain items but why would one complain about a ham amp?

357 this sounds really suspicious to me. Someone does not even know the difference between mercury rectifiers and mercury reflectors. LOL Why would being made prior to 1970 mean it had mercury rectifiers in it anyway? Lots of stuff prior to that date has solidstate diodes.

It was very difficult to speak to those clowns.

I told the uneducated fool there is nothing like that and he said "i'm sorry sir its already been confiscated.

These fuckers stole my amp, outright stole it.

I'm going to contact a lawyer and maybe the news.

Well, you are right. With the exception that we both know that Ebay is governed by political pressure from many other groups that are out there, including for the leftist socialist Ham warriors. The price of popularity, for which Ebay could not otherwise exist (or so they have been led to believe), is to kowtow to these pressures. See? I made it all the way from just dumb Hams to leftist socialist Hams included. LOL!!! Using the same tactics that they themselves employ. I mean this in humor; but also in truth, since it is true as well.

I would demand Proof that there is mercury inside. I agree that is total B.S. and I would demand my property to be delivered.
Some jerk in Northern Kentucky has an amp he now is trying to get working on CB.

Would this not fall under the Illegal search and seizure? Was this seized by a shipping company or by Customs at a point of entry?
