I ordered a brand new Mosley TA-33-M (I think that is the right designator) it is the one with the WARC band capabilities. To go along with it I ordered a new Glen Martin Hazer with the additional guide wheels and heavy duty winch with brake.

Normally I would not have spent this much money but the Department of Veterans Affairs have finally declared me 100% disabled and they honored my claim back to 1972 when I was discharged. Needless to say I ended up with a considerable hunk of money. One thing is certain Dayton will be more fun having money to buy things with. All I am really looking for is a nice AM transmitter and receiver.

Glad you were finally treated right. And glad you got the new toys! I had a TA-33 Jr years ago. (no WARC bands then) and for a simple, 3 element beam, it performed quite well. Having the Hazer is a nice feature. If I ever put another tower up, that is what I plan to do. My tower climbing days are long over. Verticals and wire beams strung thru the trees work just fine for me now.
Enjoy your trip to Dayton. I've been by the Hamvention lots of times in the past
40 years, (was over the road trucker, now local) and never had the chance to stop
and go. I'm saving up to go next year for the first time!!
