Sorry if I came across that way, totally not my intention, I was just trying to pass on information that I was given about using the k40 with or without an amp. No more than that pardon me if it seemed so. I am dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to cb/ham radio. I install cell site equipment for a living and that's what I know. I use these forums just like every other joe for information that may help I'm my quest to talk on a cb lol. I am going to put a sign up at my house that says no cell phones allowed!!
