Down here on OZ we would be forced to have hobbled 10 round mags...and 22 mag is expensive...love to have one though !

Nice looking little plinker. I bet that thing will stop a man in his tracks!! If not the wounds the noise would LOL! Even though it's so small those .22 mags are a hot little round. I've seen many a deer killed with them. Nice video Mudfoot and thanks! Now I want one too..

A couple of guys down here have the AMT in 22 Magnum, more of a 1911 style if you are not into Tupperware guns. I used to have a Ruger Single 6 with LR and Magnum cylinders. Was fun but the cost of the Magnum ammo meant that it didn't get much use.

Well down here, using handguns for hunting is a no-no, very few exceptions. So its paper or steel targets only.

I haven't hunted with a wheel gun for a many years. I mainly just trap, bag squirrels, rabbits and Quail. I don't much mess with deer. I'll help with processing it, but I kinda lost the taste for it anymore, except my cousin made some mighty good deer jerky this year.

Same here Mudfoot, I am an avid squirrel hunter myself. Not much size to the deer down here although some do sport some nice racks. Not thick but wide and nice none the less. At any rate I love to squirrel hunt a lot. I use either my .22 browning semi auto, or a Ruger .22 bolt action with .22 shorts. My browning .22 is my all time favorite gun. Had it since I was 6 and am now 40. It is dead on and will pick dimes off at 50-75yds no problem!!! I use, or used to use the CCI Raptor's in it. I have killed everything from squirrels, deer, turkey, hogs, and just about any other critter I can kill. I do eat some of what I kill and the rest is donated to the locals. Never waste anything. But at any rate, I hear all of you when it comes to bullets!! I am fortunate that we stock piled .22's long ago when they were cheap. Even 10yrs ago, finding the CCI raptors got hard!! I can only imagine what they cost now vs the $5 they were for 50 last I bought some. Thanks much EPA and Big Brother!!!
