My homebuilt StarBuster was having prollems.....no I didn't wrap a ferrite, used multiple grounds, not just my 2" pipe shoved in the ground 6 feet, couple ground rods at tower. Attached with #6 wire. Made sure there were multiple grounds throughout the elect system also. Soo.....there are 5 ground rods and 3 elect grounding locations that have been addressed. Better than spending 2 fiddy on toroids. And a whole lot more better.
