From your attitude you must be the guy that did the video. Ferrites are useful in some cases however it is always best to cure the problem rather than treat it. The guy in the video gives the impression ferrites are the be-all and end-all when in fact they should be used as a last resort. That is why the members were poking fun at him. Better grounding and shielding is the way to go for starts.
