The KL-500 Mobile Amp has 4 SD-1446 pills in it. i was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to put bigger ones in it and not fry the thing.

I dont know, But I have one here that is a friemd of minesand someone put four 2879s in it. It is working.

    So I have a cobra 138xlr and the meter dose not work... It dose not key up and signal dose not work.... It is not stuck it the meter moves freely. now wires are resoldered on both ends...So now that do I look at. Could it be a diode or a transistor?
