L59 bottom out

so this is new to me 2000 gtl had the clarifier mod done VR-5 was removed R44 remove D75&D52 also remove gone, on am frequency is on spot LSB is on spot
but USB the best i can get is 27.2058 instead of 27.2065 using a two-tone signal L59 is bottom-out clarifier pots at 12 o'clock

i was sent this makes sense=if you unlock the voice-lock you must use the 11.3258 MHz loop crystal or the USB will have to be turned to the 3 o'clock position because L59 will not adjust far enough with the 11.325. The tuning slug will bottom out.

When you stretch the range of the coarse clarifier, most of the new coverage is below the center of the channel. This has the effect of moving the channel center to the right of 12 o'clock.

We routinely use 3 o'clock for channel center on the coarse knob when the customer wants to travel down one channel.
