My grandfather was a radio op in a wwii navy bomber. Gave up flying but never code. If he needed to get from new england to California he would drive. Ran strait key till he died. Had no use for those modern paddles or phone. I imagine he was one of the grumpy old men who wrote angry letters to the FCC about making Tech No Codesad end of radio era.
My dad was a radio operater and partrooper inW.W.II.i tried to get him to teach me morse code.he said it represents many men killed in war. Sorry im trying to forget morse code
