Lazyboner - haha. I wish. Then I wouldn't get in so much trouble.

If you meant my antenna:

You can get them @ radiowavz.com or ebay.

At radiowavz.com they only show ham dipoles but he does make the 11 meter one too. Call him. I got his cell phone # if you have problems getting him. He is a ham, and pretty patient and helpful.

On ebay, do a search on: best CB antenna

It is called a double bazooka dipole, 1500 watt version around $29 us, 5000 watt version ~ $39 buy it now on ebay.

I used 2 1/2 PVC sleeve and Pipe to make join to an existing roof vent to make the mast shown in the pic link above. Set it at a @ a 90 degree angle using 1" pvc pipe as a spreader. Whole thing is only a few pounds.

To tune, they are usually a little long -

(hard to make them longer) just fold the wire back on itself to shorten antenna and zip tie.

I had to shorten each side about 1/2 inch to get a SWR of 1.1 on channel 20.

I did not cut - seemed too permenant, kinda like a vasectomy. Ouch. <img src=http://www.wwdx.org/smilies/posticon5.gif ALT=":p5">

Hey Me, check out the connections inside the coil assembly, i remember a review that identified a production joint that was not soldered, i think were the feed came in to the base, not sure if you will butcher the antenna or not to get to it ???

worth a shot tho.

best of luck
