While stationed @ Ft. Gordon, GA several years ago, I met a friend at a "CB gathering"... The man ran a shop just outside the base, a few miles away called "8-Balls CB Equipment & repair"... I have since then lost this persons information, and have run out of rocks to look under + my coax doesn't want to streach that far from Cincy, Ohio... If anyone can help me re-connect with this person, or any other contact information, it would be greatly appreciated. I believe his personal is Mike, and his handle is 8-Ball...

    So I have a cobra 138xlr and the meter dose not work... It dose not key up and signal dose not work.... It is not stuck it the meter moves freely. now wires are resoldered on both ends...So now that do I look at. Could it be a diode or a transistor?
