Im looking for a person who knows how to repair old tube cb's.It would be great if the person you rerecommend is not a golden screwdriver tec. I'm really hoping that there is someone who is a member of this site and or has worked on tube cb's and ham equipment for other members. I feel it may be difficult to send equipment to someone hundreds if not thousands of miles away. I know there's a lot of good people on this site. people I've never met yet know i can trust. I've always had someone who could do repairs but that was twenty five years ago. There's no one left in my neck of the woods. At least no one I can trust. So my trusted friends who's the man? Thanks again.

Try Alan at www.tubesplus.com

He rebuilt my D&A Phantom a couple of years ago and it has performed flawlessly ever since.

It may take him a while (I guess he's busy) but he will get it done- and it will be better than new

If you have a Tram or Browning you might want to consider Greg Barkett at http://stores.goldeneagleradios.com/. He did a bit of work on my D201A and turned it around VERY quickly- but he doesn't work cheap.

Don't forget that shipping a tube rig can be quite an expensive proposition.
