I have worked a bunch of countries with an OCF dipole and 200 watts out of the radio. That being said there are times an amp does help. Spend your money first on the best antenna system you can put up. That will be money ahead.

I have a brand new HIGH DRIVE 4 pill with HG 2789s that will do about 800+ with a 100W drive. about 1KW+ with 150W drive. Never used, just tested. will let it go.
For 11 meters hopefully & not any Amateur Band.No filtering is a No No on the Amateur Bands.
