Lots of french, scot, uk , Two cool contacts were 18et112 demitrus in athens greece and another was 1419mex069 vince. He was located in the netherlands. Talked to him remote in france on a 6 element yagi at his parents house and a 2 element yagi were he was in the netherlands. Used his computer to control the other station in france.S6 in france and s2 in the netherlands. That was real cool. Peace!

Hi There,

I believe you migth have the call incorrect.
It is probarbly 14/19mex001 Vincent.
In France he has a 6el and at home a 3el both from me.

Perhaps something fun to mention regarding the "remote" station...
I went to a 11 meter band "dx" meeting in Denmark this weekend.

I drove together with dimtri 19at102 (he has a 5el and a 8el on a 54 feet boomlength)
We had the "front" of the tranciever in the car and with help of the mobile internet connection we were able to use the homestation...including the option to turn the beam.

Thats really something....

It was amazing for me as it was the first time i have ever seen the remote station "thingy" working from a mobile setup.

It worked perfect acept if there isnt any internet ofcourse.

The thing i needed to adapt most to was to realize your still using the "home-station".
Your standing a thousand kilometers away from your house and hear your locals loud ...
First your impressed with them, and then you realise that the transmitter and receiving location hasnt changed lol...

Kind regards,
