I have a Maco 4-element mounted Horizontal at 45 ft. for a few years now. It worked well and had a match of 1.5:1 or less on 11 meters. I was reading about adjusting this antenna for 10 meters and wanted to give it a try. I checked several forums to obtain information. I loosened the clamps that hold the tip on each element and pushed them inward to shorten them to 5 inches on Both sides or 10 inches overall for each of the four elements. I did not move the Gama match rod. The antenna is matched at 1.3:1 and is working great i am almost shocked at the performance of the antenna now as compared to 11 meters . I think that it may not be perfect on a computer modeling program but the performance I see is amazing

Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.

Is 30 ohms worth worrying about in a 100’ run of rg8u ?
