Unfortunately, People that are selling and older pdl2 want an arm and a leg for them, where as you can get a used v-quad for around $70.Better off finding an old PDLII

...beams would be great but I just can't get a 4-element up more than 20ft...so I was thinking VQuad....but hey they have a really small footprint!!!
Yes..i have wanted to try a moxon antenna. I have studied it and have come to the conclusion that it works very close to a 3 element beam? Jmowell, if that is your concern,.... take a look at the MOXON type antennas.
small footprint and easy to construct.
some people swear by them performance wise,..... don't be fooled, they are acceptable, but in no way will they outperform a 4 element beam.
