Magnum s45hp Detune

good afternoon, id like to ask how to turn down the swing on STX down to 40w if possible. i still want to keep MTX @ 100w.
i want to do this to have options on running a linear boxes, ranging from a 2x 2879s or 4x 2290s or 4x2879s. right now it does 75w on stx.

With the output of the S45; you can use the 4x's. I wouldn't do the detune as you plan. I would let it be; but that is me . . .

well i drove my ts 500v and i saw 700w pep on 3 differnt meters @ 15.5vdc. i know for a fact that is nonsence wrong and probably too much drive on the amp. and that was with 3w swinging to 75w. thats why i want to turn down the swing on the STX "low".... so i have options and done drive my amps like crazy.

You can also just turn down the mic gain so you don't over drive it.
Turn down the RF power out knob until you see 1 or 2 watts dead key.
It is all in how you adjust it externally.

yup yup sure did. but they didnt tune it. just fixed some things. running it in the mobile right now. i do have to change them blasted blue led's out because its just too bright in the mobile at night even on the dim setting, unless i can add a resistor somewhere to dim them a little more would be nice and a-lot easier.

alright what you think between these amps behind the s45hp, texas star 500, fat boy 4pill, davemade 4 pill ? i honestly done talk ssb much more into the AM skip. running almost 15v in the mobile
