Magnum S45HP (OmegaForce) very low Modulation on SSB

Hi Guys,

I did my best to research on here for a remedy but, no luck.
Here goes, just recently received my S45HP brand new from ebay.
turned it on and noticed no mods done, which is fine. I opened it up to move the jumper to con3 for 10 and 11 meters. I noticed no jumpers so I researched a little farther to find I must remove bridge for con1 and solder a bridge across con3. Everything is good, I am very happy with am on 11 m. I then tried usb and lsb and I have hardly any modulation.Has anyone had this problem ?

Any info would be Greatly Appreciated

I'd send it in for warranty repair.

The CB mod doesn't matter. Sam knows 99.99% are modded. As long as you sent in your warranty sheet and/or you got your receipt, they will fix it.

If you used a propane torch and scorched the board and left 2 ounces of solder blobs all over, then they probably won't fix it under warranty.

Just call 'em up.
