When you assemble a I-10K, I know you said you use blind rivets, how much do you overlap the tubes before you rivet them ????

Maybe you could cover your 10K assembley procedure ?????

Thanks :)

I use the same EXPOSED lengths that are in the instructions. However, I flip every tube upside down I can so the slotted end is INSIDE the next larger piece below it. This includes the short 5" tubes also. This way I have a solid exposed end. Obviously, not every tube can be flipped over so I make due where I have to.

Two of my earlier I-10Ks were actually TIG welded and reduced the amount of rivets necessary to build the antenna. I won't weld another antenna.
