I did not read every word, re, rant but in regard to 10 meter things......the famous list.
When the FCC tried to prosecute Mr Peng they screwed the pooch royaly.
Here is were the list came from

The list that was dreamed up by a field agent at the fcc in a e mail, included a little bit about how they did not see how they could enforce it because every major builder of " legit" ham equipment had a diode you could cut/switch you can flip/jumper to open and so on.
Funny that this part was withheld from the defense during the trial.
Then when the Judge pinned down the FCC lawyer, he admited, under oath, that " 10 meter radios as sold out of the box were not prohibited"
It started falling apart.
By the time it was done the Judge dismissed the case.
And this is how they are now openly sold everywhere.
But, without a doubt, someone will find a copy of it and cry tears that radio is illegal
Illegal damn it.
Cause I seen it on the interneck.
