MESSENGER 450 is available again

Hey guys I new I should of waited to post that reply in regards to the above but I couldn't hold out any longer once I came accross the topic and read it. It seems like every so often I come accross someone who was given faulse information about the Messenger Amplifiers such as ALA leading them to beleive that they are purchasing a Messenger Amp when in fact they are actually peddeling copy cats and it is not long after the first guy spreads the word and than they have several guys who follow and than they find out later that the box they just purchased is not a true Messenger and just a copy cat, which in ALA case they just about pulled it off except for the 450 that they put on that box if they would of put a 400 or a number that Messenger actually produced at one time I think it would of managed to go a lot further but even the 450 being on there has made them some success but I know if that were myself and I purchased that being lead to beleive it being a true Messenger I would be paying them a visit and knocking on some doors, LOL.
Anyways what I was getting at is I will be home tomorrow afternoon as we are coming back from the Nascar race and I will get you all some pictures of those boxes and also some prices. Also the quality of these boxes are every bit as good if not better than the Messengers have always been, the guys that I have sold them to have all said WOW these boxes seem to be even better quality now than back in the days. I agree with them to a point but like I tell them is when ever you are producing a products at high volumes such as making sure a certain number of boxes get built a day going down assembly line of course the quality is not going to be as good as if you were not so concerned about how many a day get built and you are not pressured to hurry and get them out because you are behind, whenever the main man behind a product the guy who actually designed and developed it can spend more one on one time on it and as the years go buy of course I would hope that they become a better product and in this case I promise you you wont be un happy this guy makes dam sure each and everyone is top notch before he sends them out not like before when they just got boxed up and sent out and let the customer try it and see if there were any problems because than they just send them back and they would just send them another one that was easier to do when you are producing many more than you are today and he makes sure now before that happens because as he says to me there is nothing worse than that for me and him when that happens but as we all know shit does happen. So anyways I'm back out and I will get those pictures up tomorrow with the prices and I think as it stands right now I have 2 of each of the smaller boxes and 1 MV4 with the full remote with the 3 power levels on the remote and 1-1200 also with the full remote and speaking with them on Friday he said he will have me 2 or each of the models by Thanksgiving to have on hand for the holidays and more on a as need base if that would happen. I don't want to throw out the prices tonight when I'm not 100% sure but I will say they are priced right a long with all the others give or take but in my opinion you pay for what you get and when you break it down and compare apples to apples and what you reveive it actually breaks down to better price and a much better product so take it for what it's worth and you be the judge. If you are all about good clean power and are know or run the Messenger amps before than you know what I'm talking about, nothing but the best here if that what your after. Alright got to go a few hundred miles to go and the sooner we get home the sooner those pics will be up.

I still would love to see prices and availability. I'm very interested.

Alright guys, I started a Photo Album in my profile that you all can view. So far I listed the Messenger 125 Variable, 250 Variable, 350 Variable & the M4V with full remote all 3 power levels on the remote. Also the 500, 800 & 1200 are available and as soon as my other half gets here with by brief case I will get you some prices on these Amplifiers.
Check them out and if you have any questions you can PM me or address them to darrinbeatty@alltel.net.

Thanks,

Cotton Mouth.

i cant find any pics of the inside of the messenger 450 from ala . use to be some here cause i posted them . that 350 looks just like it from my memory........but that a a buck will get you a soda . is the 350 youre selling a 4x1446 amp cotton ?
i found some pics of the inside of the cobra 500 from freecells site .
Cobra XL500 LINEAR Amplifier

looks very much like the 350 munus the 10W47 ohm j peice . i think thats a part of the ab biasing .

i cant post the pics on here cause im too cheap to be a paying member . maybe someone else can .

The Messenger 350 that I am familiar with is indeed 4x1446. It would be interesting to see pics of the "450" to compare.

everyone but freecell said the messenger 450 and the cobra 500 look the same . the guy at ala told me last year they were the same amp , he just puts a sticker on them saying it was a cobra 500 (and also jacked up the price considerably) . im not saying who to believe , just saying what i was told .

The first amp I ever bought was back in 1996, Blue face Galaxy 225 with either MRF454's or 455's. It did have the coil filtering and was a great little amp for the 89.99 I paid for it.

Yeah and that's the same maker , did yours have the slightly to long delay on AM ? the makers first models did but he fixed the problem within time , he used the Galaxy / skipper / palomar names on them.

The 89.99 was a pretty good price back in 96 , I cringe when I see that 185.00 price tag on ALA . The prices on those have really not changed very much from maker over the years , depending on whom you know , I could get then for 75.00 new up until the beginning of this year from distributor , so whats that tell you on the price he got from maker when he got a half a dozen of them ? :) and IM talking 2008 here.

The mark ups blow me away sometimes. Either via private parties or your favorite tech or truck stop shop. Wow !!! I suppose everybody gots to make a living. 185.00 !! OUCH !!!

everything is marked up , its the american way . rarely do you see any business sell anything for less than a %100 markup (doubling the price they pay for it) . most tv.s computers and such are sold near cost (sometimes even below cost) because they make their money on the accessories .

it is what it is . if someone knows how to get quanities of 6 or 12 for half of what folks are selling them for maybe they should consider allowing forum members go in on a set quanity if they chose to do so ?

is knowing how to get them so much cheaper but keeping it a secret any better than the folks selling them at these advertised prices . nobodies forcing anyone to buy anything and we all try to find the best deal we can from a supplier we feel we can trust .

no disrespect to you switch , but , share the wealth brother .

that was the class c version 9C1Driver .
No it wasn't . Let me say it again , the orignal maker of these boxes has been making them for getting on 15 years now. Very little has changed to his models. (-: Now does he also make a class c version which I've seen ? I can not honestly answer that question . Only for his AB1 models , and yes , when MRF's were not as exspensive as they once were , he used those most of the time, 455s in the 225s / 454's in the 250s / 454's x 4 in his 450s ect. ect,. May be IM just missing something here ? Wouldn't be the first time.
