I had my 949 peaked and tuned with the stock mic on it, Then wired a turner +3 to it and use my talkback to monitor my modulation along with my meter in the mod setting on radio, All was well until this evening when skip was loud in my radio I couldn't seem to make a contact so I switched my meter from SWR to mod to check it and found I had little to no modulation on the meter although I can hear myself in my talkback, So I checked the power of radio with the radios meter and found it barely moves. I was able to get a radio check on 19 AM and was told it sounded good with the turner but had little to no mod with the stock mic. I normally run the radio mic gain at 9 o'clock and the turner at about 10 o'clock, I had to turn both to max to get this good report. I tried SSB with a local and was told I had no modulation no matter what I did and I only was hitting him with a 2 on his meter normally I give him 9+ as he is about 2 miles from me. I don't think I burned the finals but any clues? By the way the Mod limiter was not cut on this radio. I think I might have killed my radio
