I am going to need a antenna analyzer, is there any good info on this unit by people that have one or reviews. or is it junk?
Or is there any other opinions?

Everyone I know that has one likes it, there are other optionsut there however. A company called You kits makes one hat TenTec sells, Comet makes one and there several Chinese ones on eBay as well. Honestly I thing the MFJ model is just fine a when I finally get around to getting one will be the one I will purchase.

I don't know much about the 266. Several members of the forum have the 259B, as do a couple of guys in my local ham club. They all really like the 259B a lot. I had considered buying one, but I don't home brew enough on VHF/UHF to really justify the extra price on the 266. Mostly playing on HF with tried and true designs, so my wire lengths are in the ballpark already.

The RigExpert antenna analyzers make the MFJ stuff look like a toy.
The AA-54 is comparably priced although it is only good up through 6 meters.
It is a far more useful piece of test gear than the MFJ in my opinion.
