I cannot speak about the meter portion but the dummy load is only a 50 watt load resistor and calling it a 1.5 Kw load is really an injustice. I have the same load resistor in my MFJ-260c dummy load. They claim it will take 1.5 Kw for 10 seconds but I would not want to try it. I have used it at 100 watts and anything more than a minute or two and it gets hot.
