Get ready for the Summer 6 Meter season! I've upgraded to a larger tuner so my MFJ 969 Roller Inductor tuner is excess. This tuner works well as should and will match most anything you have for 300watts pep. I used with an 80M horizontal Loop wire antenna on all bands except 160. Loops have multiple resonant spots on most bands above the band it's cut for - mine has a good place around 49.5mhz and this tuner had no problem matching it from there up to the 50.2mhz 6 meter Sideband area and used it there many times.
Tuner has the usual few handful of small minor scratches and nicks in the outer cover and none are bad. There is NO wear to any of the front lettering and the meter face is perfect - the whole front looks minty. Overall is very clean and used in smoke-free home. So I'll give it a 9.0 of 10 on looks.
I replaced the factory incandescent meter bulb with a white LED so meter lighting is bright and LED's are very long-lasting. I am including an aftermarket Wal Wart for powering the light and meter - Be advised that this model tuner uses a powered circuit for the meter too so power is for the meter operation and not just the light. You can leave the wall wart plugged in and turn meter&light on/off via the red button on front. Built in balun with rear connections for wire antennas and 2 coax positions with both Tuned and Bypass positions. Dummy Load setting for testing. Again tuner works as should on all functions and I used it daily for more than a year with no problems. Very clean inside - no arcing of components and I never ran more than 100 watts through it. Roller Inductor turns smoothly and operates the Turn Counter as should.
Complete with factory box, operators manual and the aftermarket wall wart I used. Original styrofoam box inserts too plus extra padding. There will be no movement of anything inside for shipping and will wrap box in heavy brown shipping paper to avoid scuffs. Factory box is excellent.
