They seemed to fly pretty well. One had a gentle oscillation front to back, but a net forward movement in the long run.
One a side note, I found that if you have a large area, you can give those things a downward-angled launch from your hand (like tossing a glider), and they will correct and do a steep bank back around (always to the right), and keep that figure going for a couple turns. Pretty wild little guys! Mine finally bit the dust from too many wall hits, though.
wall banger! only time min did that was when the dam AIR VENT turned on...lol
mine after a replacement from blue to red (micro X copter first pico knockoff)
flew high and fast...hell it freaked me out the speed it lifted off the ground or my hand....the body where the little switch turns (off/on) is hard to switch on or off but works (thank you nails)
and yep if you set the trim right it does a nice bank in a large room I call it auto bank...lol the highest i got this sucker inside was 30 foot and fley it about 5" from the ceiling all around
course that was after applying the right amount of liquid tape for weight, to the underneath of the nose that gave me a perfect
balanced flight
now the blue one not saying by any means that colors mater but going through a lot of forums blue was bad...lol
anyways it lifted slow and was rough as in wobbling bad it would trim out but looked like it would dogtrack (like a 71 nova with the leaf spring center pins broke off)
I trimed the prop a bit and added weight or trimmed off weight
here and there and it flew a lot better but slower...
the other blue one i got just sat on the ground full speed spinning till i trimmed it out and just sat there looking at me like what i can't lift off no matter what
i bent the prop at the right angles but it was a no go
weird as i did see some flaws in the prop from the molding ...that must of been the problem....I returned it and this is how i came up with my killer RED one...
one day ,on a calm day i do what to see if this sucker rises 100' as stated without loosing RC contact
