Could anyone help to show me how to get my PEAK READING RF POWER METER back for Magnum Omega Force S45 or S45HP???

I havent used my Magnum for about a week n I realize that when i using it my Peak Reading RF Power Meter is missing now during receive n transmit.

As u know everything worked ok except the Peak reading the one under freq display on LCD .

Any comments would be helpful. Thank you.

I always go for the simple stuff first! I have one of these rigs, but cannot remember if there is a sequence for factory reset. You might try that?

A radio meter really won't tell you much of anything about wattage or even peak wattage. All it will do is swing to the right side of the meter. Where you have the RF power set at, where the mic gain is at, and what mode of talking you are in will all effect what the radio's meter does.

Anyway, 2rt307 is right on track with your problem. The third lower knob in from the left has 6 different settings, 4 of the six make the meter function like you want. Double check your settings.
