Yeah. I probably did. Just exploring options. The thought of running the rc-710 through an Ic-5100a does seem to have some merit.

If I went that route I'd probably look for a different HF rig than the 7100. But. I've yet to find anyone who has done it. Probably the ftm-400 now and the ic-7100 later is the way to go.
