I like how these antennas look, very imposing and it seems they poke a little more signal to the horizon. Be it the old and original one or the Vector. I cannot recall what the original was called but do remember seeing them back in the day.

Just 0.5dBd over a 5/8 wave though, it does not seem like much.

If I had a nice open back garden without any obstacles I would enjoy this antenna.
Up on something like an 8M pole.

Feed it with the super low loss thick coax and enjoy looking at it from a lovely warm small DX shack in front of the antenna doing some 10 and 11.

Well we can all dream can't we ?
