looks stock.

usually the easiest way to tell if someone has had their hands in this type of radio is to look at the AMC pot (VR4). if its maxed out, someone got in there and did that.

then, look at the coils in the final section, if they have been spread out and look like slinkys, someone has had their hands in it. (and F'ed it up BTW)

your radio looks as though no one has touched it... YET!!!

Another way is to go to the Defpom page and look up your model of radio and inspect the parts to see if they have been altered, substituted, or removed. Simply reverse the process as described in the mod. In most Uniden or Cobra AM radios, the swing mod is the most common.

There are usually several different kinds of mods; some benign and some that simply do not work well or as described - too. Usually the receive mods work well as does some of the modulation mods. Some mods are upgrades to the factory parts and are usually OK to do/have.
eg: Schottky diodes in the receiver work well.
