Just today picked up a Boonton 102-F AM-FM RF Generator for $149.
I was thinking it was Chinese import but apparently Boonton (in Boonton, NJ by the way!) has been around since at least the 40's and the guy tells me that when this thing hit the market in the mid-seventies or so.... it had a price tag of at least $12.9K.
450 Khz -520 Mhz, AM-FM modulation, built in frequency counter (which can be fed externally!), built in stepped attenuator ( -130 db to (I think) +15 db). Four crystal ovens AND a PLL based lock feature that locks it on the frequency you set.
I'm in lust!
