Most common Radio Tubes Used?

Just wondering what type of radio/vacuum tubes are most commonly used in tube amplifiers, radios, etc?

Ex. 6J7, 5U4, 6X5, etc...

I know this is a noob question...sorry...

Criticism, comments, questions welcome...

None of those old sweep tubes are common anymore. You can still find equipment with them, but good luck finding replacement tubes.

Probably the most common tubes used today are the 3-500z, 811a, 3cx800, 3cx1200, 3cx1500.

I have a ton of tubes that I'm trying to get rid of, that's why I'm asking...

So if anybody is looking for old tubes, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

Put a listing in the Swap Shop section of what you have and how much you want for them. I'm sure someone will be interested.

Those are not sweep tubes. Sweep tubes were used in TV sets. They are often maligned by R.F. dunces and almost always make better linear amplifier tubes in a simple circuit than the crappy 6146.

Well I went through a lot of the tubes and only came up with the following:

4 - 5U4GB (One Sylvania, two GE, one Packard Bell)
2 - 12AX7 (I believe these are Westinghouse)

I think most of the tubes in the collection that I have may be for old TV's, I'm not sure though. There are too many to catalog them all for inventory purposes. Sooner or later I will get them all into an Excel spreadsheet and post it on here for anyone interested to look through.

For what I do have, here is what I would be asking for the tubes.

12AX7 Quantity: 2 $10 each or $15 for the pair
5U4 Quantity: 4 $5 for all 4

$20 + Shipping (will vary based on your location) for all tubes

These tubes are untested, but appear to be in good physical condition, due to this, all would be sold AS IS.
