What do you all think is the most durable and reliable export(s). I know of quite a few bad or less reliable radios but which ones are the best, RCI? I am about to go ahead and fix all my radios one last time and sell them all for something that dont fail so often.

yup, they are ok , on the rare occasion when the display doesn't go blank.
i'd stick with one of the older unidens, like the pb010, pc879, pb042 and pc999 or even a lincoln variant, they all work well, and the fact there is millions of them still about after 20 - 30 years proves reliability beyond doubt (especially when retards ain't been inside them).
Only time mine goes blank or black is in the mobile and the inside temp of the vehicles reaches 150 or so from being parked in the direct sun but it has always returned to normal after cooling a bit.

I have a 2970DX I traded for and so far it has proven to be very durable and versatile.
Never have owned a 2950.

I have a 2950dx I traded a Connex 4300dx for back in 2001 and it is still my favorite working radio, well if I don't count my ts-430/
